earth is the luxury available not to everyone. The country which area only 710 sq.km., is the homeland for 5 million people. It is no wonder that Singapore is covered with skyscrapers. 93% of food in the country are imported, there is no agriculture per se here.

The businessman Jack Ying claims that he can make in 5 times more of vegetables, than a usual farm. Production of vegetables can be even in the most populated megalopolis without binding to the earth. The innovative farm produces 1 ton of vegetables a day thanks to new technologies.

Jack Ying's technology resembles a Ferris wheel, 30 pounds high. Pots are on aluminum bases in the form of a triangle. Bases rotate, receiving uniform flow of air and moisture (irrigation). Water is filtered and used cyclically. Organic waste is applied as fertilizers. Water wheels rotate at the expense of gravity. The farm consumes only 60 watts of electricity an hour – as much energy is consumed by a bulb.

The farm occupies the space in 60 sq. pounds (size of the ordinary bathroom). 120 towers were established in Kranzhi (in 14 miles from the business area of the country). The businessman plans installation of additional 300 installations that will allow to produce about two tons of vegetables a day. Ying plans to construct in addition 2000 towers in the following several years.
