Desire is very passionate desire. Usually mean sexual desire, I am eager for possession of other person, but it is possible to long also other things, for example, the purpose when the person anticipates can be desired and waits for it achievement, anticipating joy.
Danger of desire
Desire is so strong desire that the person ceases to think logically and loses abilities sensibly to argue. It as though a certain force which attracts it seizes to make certain acts about which he can even be sorry then. Happens that the person longing for something understands that he moves to the edge of the abyss, but cannot cope with himself: desire is stronger than it.
The state captures him so that he is not capable to take any other things into consideration. The system of values comes down to one: "I want it", and such motivational concepts as it "is necessary", it "is necessary" and it is "correct", are just rejected by consciousness. Desire is stronger than arguments of reason and installations of morals. The last as though are disconnected at the person captured by passion.
Desire manifestation
Desire is shown, first of all, in the field of feelings. It is possible to compare this process to a magnet. There is a magnet and there is a metal subject. The magnet attracts a subject, and both not in forces to resist because such is physics of these substances. Also precisely desire when business concerns people "works". This natural, animal feeling. There is also other form of desire – when the person attributes himself the power over object of desire, building in the imagination head into its account. So occurs if feelings managed to get the best of mind. The person likes object of desire, the taken pleasure is pleasant. After that process gains additional aspect: not only receiving pleasure, but also plans for receiving pleasure. The person begins to think that object of desire somehow belongs to it that receiving pleasure from process – its natural right. When (and if) this illusion falls, consequences sometimes are very sad and even tragic. The fact is that the person captured by feelings – as the child. Object of desire is represented to him as necessary as a toy to the kid, and it is impossible to explain both something. Take away an entertainment from the child – and he will burst into tears, will take offense, can reach even a hysterics if the toy was especially nice. The same is and with adults, it is only shown in more dangerous form.
What to do with desire
To win against desire – not the simplest task. But to indulge in it, having allowed to take control of your consciousness – it is really dangerous. Not for nothing in all religions the desire is considered sinful. To cope, it is useful to realize that any person – is not the most important in the world. There are no such desires which have to be carried out contrary to feelings of people around. It is important to understand it what desire concerned: authorities, other person, money or still something.
