The tradition takes the sources to celebrate anniversary of a wedding which is associated with any given metal or gemstone from Slavic folklore. One of such anniversaries, pearl, celebrate 30 years later after marriage.

1. A symbol of the thirtieth anniversary of a wedding – pearls, solid mineral. Its hardness symbolizes the fortress of family bonds which did not collapse after long years of marriage. This day the spouses can give each other the jewelry made of quality natural pearl of white color. In Ancient Russia it was accepted to give products from round pearls which symbolized joy and happiness. And here the vague or split mineral – a symbol of grief and strokes of bad luck therefore you should not present it as a gift.
2. A certain tradition of celebration of a pearl wedding does not exist now. But not so superfluous will be to visit the temple this day and to deliver couple of candles. In the ancient time there was a ritual which needed to be carried out in day of a pearl wedding that marriage remained so strong – it was necessary to throw into a reservoir two small coins synchronously.
