The word "humanity" is translated as humanity. With development in Europe of the trade capital there were Renaissance representing the secular intellectuals which scientists, publicists, historians, poets, officials, etc. treated. Initially they opposed to the feudal culture of the Middle Ages the Roman and Greek cultures which reached the high development. They considered them unique for themselves that led to the fact that they considered the present through its prism. They not only conducted excavation and wrote in native languages, but also took themselves the Greek names, without feeling attached to the nation, the country. They traveled from one state to another and urged to respect and esteem people not notable, but talented. Dante, Leonardo Bruno, Ramble, Boccaccio treat great humanists of that time.

Humanity classification

Carry to humanistic views:

1. Ancient humanity which was professed by Aristotle, Socrates, Confucius, etc.
2. Classical humanity. This already described current of Renaissance.
3. Teistichesky humanity. His followers considered that to bring up the patriot and the humanist it is possible only provided that it will believe in God and together with it will work on the rescue.
4. Atheistic humanity. His followers declared independence of ethics of religion, considered that the reason and moral standards will not obey it.

Modern humanity

Humanists of modern times unite in various organizations, currents and build the activity on the basis of program documents in which carry declarations, charters, manifestos, etc. To defining own outlooks on life by the concept "humanity", carry agnostics, liberal, rationalists, atheists, participants of various ethical groups.
