What does the hypocrite mean?
It is possible to tell that it is the person double-faced, bad and malicious, but gives itself for virtuous, frank and kind. Such definition is given in the dictionary by Ojegov. In the American explanatory dictionary understand a fake of beliefs, virtues and feelings which are not peculiar to the person as hypocrisy.
Hypocrisy in various spheres of human life
- Hypocrisy in ethics. Here it is about the negative moral quality which is in what obviously immoral acts allocate with pseudo-moral sense, give them the sublime motives and the purposes which are characterized by philanthrophy. The value of the hypocrite is opposite to the value characteristic of the open and sincere person, think also which action coincide with his words.
- Cultural hypocrisy. Here it is already about a state which supports society because each his certain individual feels uncertainly and feels the need to protect the lability by restriction of criticism and discussion. Such feeling arises because society demands from each member of aspiration to high ideals of morality, disregarding, how heavy to reach it. The attitude towards hypocrisy in various religions
- In Christianity condemn the hypocrite pretender and consider that this illness of a human soul is subject to confession. Orthodox Christians believe that a father of a lie is the devil and life of the hypocrite not God, and angrily operates. The double-faced hypocrite has two lives: one of them is exposed on display, and another is hidden deeply inside.
- In Islam of hypocrites call мунафик, and hypocrisy – нифак. Respectively, such person wants to seem the devout Muslim, but is in practice far from belief. In Islam hypocrisy much more more worst sin, than disbelief. It is considered that after death such people get to the lowermost and painful level of hell. Constantly lurching from one extreme to the other, hypocrites spin intrigues and intrigues, create around themselves a distemper. They deride Allah's signs and pursue only the interests.
How to distinguish the hypocrite?
It is a lot of such people in policy. Being covered with slogans and high ideals, they think only of themselves and the requirements. They will never help and will not give a helping hand just like that if they do not see in it any benefit for themselves.
It is clear, that to communicate with such people and furthermore to build some close relations, desire does not arise. And if it turns out so that at an early stage it was not succeeded to distinguish the hypocrite, the bitter disappointment comes then that it was necessary to spend time and forces on such person, it is a pity for the feelings and love.
