Volleyball – mobile team game with the ball in which it is fascinating to play both in the gym, and in any open area where it is possible to stretch the goal net. The basic rules of this game were created closer by 1925.
Instruction
1. Choose equal space of 18х9 m in size, across it pull the goal net at the level of 2.43 m for men and 2.24 m for women. In the game from 6 to 14 people can participate in each team. The right of the first cross is defined by draw. The ball is thrown through the goal net until concerns the field of the opposing team or until someone from players doesn't allow wrong contact on the ball. For the victory in each draw to winning team the point is set off. When the right of cross passes from one team to another, players are in the field interchanged the position clockwise.
2. Cross is carried out behind the field baseline. It isn't important whether you serve the ball in the jump or not, the main thing, don't take up for the line. The ball can concern the goal net, but not antennas or their mental continuation. Otherwise the point is set off to the opponent. You watch that the ball didn't take off out of limits of the field of play, otherwise the receiving team will get the point. If cross is carried out by the same player two times in a row, then other participants of the game aren't interchanged the position. On cross of the ball 8 seconds are allotted.
3. Volleyball – the game in three contacts, that is participants of the receiving team can pass the ball each other in the territory only three times. The ball can be returned or "saved" any part of the body, but he can't be detained at all. The blocking kicks aren't included into the concept "three contacts". They are carried out by players of the first line who are directly at the goal net. Most often serve is returned by baseline players. During draw it is forbidden to take up the field of play of the opponent.
4. In each team there is the player of the libero who always is on the baseline. It is dressed in the shirt contrasting on color with clothes of other participants of his team. The task of this player is to receive approach shots of the opponent and rebounds from block kicks. But he has no right neither to cross, nor to participate in cross, nor to block. The libero can replace any baseline player. In the last changes of rules of 2009 it is noted that at official international competitions 14 players, 2 of them – the libero have to join the team.
5. The team which won 3 parties which proceed up to 25 points is considered the winner. The fifth party is played to 15 points. After each party of team pass in the field of the opponent. In each party after 8 and 16 points of team leave on the 60-second technical break. The coach can ask the timeout twice (30 sec.) during one party and to make up to 6 substitutes.
