It is possible to accelerate simple reaction by means of widespread exercise. Extend the hand with the opened palm the edge to the floor forward. The workmate has to take the ruler 30-40 cm long and hold it the end down 2 cm above your palm. When it suddenly releases the ruler, try to catch it as soon as possible. The forearm at the same time remains motionless. Speed of reaction is estimated on distance which the ruler flew by.

3. If you need development of difficult reaction, select exercises in which the different option of actions is possible. The choice of action has to depend on type of the external signal. In single combat it looks so: at side kick of the opponent the hand you put the block the hand, and at the lower side kicking – bend the leg in the knee. The opponent if desired can put as several kicks with the hand in a row, and several kicking, using various combinations from two movements. Try to combine no more than three options of different actions in one exercise.
