How to check the bearing: house methods

The bearing is the habitual postural pose of the standing or quietly moving person. The correct natural pose not just is the part of image of the attractive person. Being important for normal functioning of the organism, the good bearing serves as the indicator of the condition of all musculoskeletal system.

Instruction

1. Wall test. To check the bearing, find the equal wall, without plinth on the floor. Take off footwear, remain in thin clothes which allow to experience body contours, and get up the back to the wall. If you stand up straight, you have to concern the wall only four points: nape, shovels, buttocks and heels. When conducting this self-testing it is important to stand as you usually do it, without deflection and excessive pulling of the back. It is important to estimate not how you can be straightened, and correctness of the pose, habitual for you.

2. Symmetry of the body. Other criteria of correctness of the bearing is the symmetry of arrangement of the left and right side of the body. This test can be conducted independently in front of the mirror, to ask someone to look at you from outside even better. Shoulders and shovels have to be located on the line parallel to the floor. Clavicles at the correct posture form almost horizontal line. Buttocks and wings of the basin also have to be at one level. Identical length of legs and the equal provision of feet is characteristic of the correct posture.

3. Exact calculation. The so-called humeral index helps to check correctness of the natural postural pose. Count the relation of length of shoulders in the area of the breast to length of shoulders in the area of the back. If to receive the humeral arch (shoulders on the back) for 100%, then length of shoulders up to the breast has to equal 90-100%. It is also possible to measure distance from the seventh vertebra (he most strongly acts at the neck basis) to right, and then to the left shoulder-blade. If the received figures coincide, you have no problems with the postural pose.
