During each performance in the figure skating championship the athletes surely show the skill spin. This element shows level of proficiency in the body, ability to hold coordination and confidence of the figure skater on ice.
Instruction
1. If you aren't the professional in figure skating, you have no skilled coach capable to help to avoid the trauma, it will be very difficult to master spin. Don't start similar experiments if still you feel uncertainty on ice, you feel difficulties with turns, braking and balance on skates. Spin – the trick for experienced athletes.
2. The movement on the place will be the first step in development of spin. Exactly standing on skates, relax and press hands to the breast. Lean on the edge of the right fad and slightly bend the leg. Make a start the left leg smoothly, without force. You will begin to rotate to the right, at the same time in process of the turn slowly straighten legs. Try to keep balance. In process of development of spin increase speed, making a start the leg with the bigger force. It is desirable that somebody insured you during the trainings as it will be most difficult to keep spin on one axis. If brings" you aside, let the friend will catch you.
3. After spin on the place is mastered, and you don't feel discomfort and dizziness, start development of pirouettes. The pirouette is the spin at which important elements is calling the pirouette and the exit from it. Front calling on the pirouette is expedited and is vigorous. Making a start the right leg, bend left and move to the left, describing the semi-circle on ice. Being in the provision "front scales" with the extended right leg and hands which are moved apart in the parties for balance, direct the movement by the extended leg, "spinning" themselves to the left. When you begin to rotate, straighten the pivot foot. Extend the right leg back, keeping "front scale". Don't disperse yourself, let spin happen by inertia. When the speed of the movement decreases, transfer body weight slightly forward that the access from the pirouette – slow sliding was gained forward, slightly to the left.
4. To master the back pirouette slightly more difficult. Moving on semi-circle range, you behave as in the direct pirouette, however having swept a little on one leg, cross on another, directing themselves to the left. So you will begin "to be spun" even in dispersal. Reduce diameter of the circle, moving to its center on the right leg. Direct the movement by the extended left leg, being in "front scale". The exit in spin begins with the back. Raise hands in the parties to keep balance. Rotate on the right leg, after spin you leave the pirouette on the left.
