The snooker is considered one of the most difficult games of pocket billiards. It is considered to be that for the first time this game appeared in the nineteenth century, in India. Instruction

1. For playing snooker use 15 red, 6 color and one white sphere. The white sphere is called chock. The purpose of this game is the set of the greatest number of points. At the same time spheres have to lay down in billiard pockets in strictly certain sequence. The quantity of points is appropriated to each of spheres: - the black sphere - 7 points; - pink - 6; - blue - 5; - brown - 4; - green - 3; - yellow - 2; - red - on one point.

2. The match, as a rule, consists of several frames — parties. Their quantity is defined in advance.

3. Before the game the spheres are exposed on the table in a certain way. The right of the first strike in the first party is defined by draw. In next games the initial kicks are made in turn.

4. The player has to score color and red spheres serially. At the same time, until on the table there are red spheres played color return and exposed on certain points of the table.

5. The player who acquired the right of kick has to get on any of red spheres. The maximum allowed time of kick — one minute. When performing kick the bitok has to concern the red sphere, but at the same time itself it shouldn't appear in the billiard pocket. As a result of the correct kick in the billiard pocket there can be only spheres of red color. Points are added by quantity of the tired-out spheres.

6. If after kick any of red spheres didn't get to the billiard pocket, "course" passes to the opponent.

7. The following kick has to be made on the color sphere. And its color makes a reservation in advance — "is ordered". The sphere is considered scored if at kick the bitok concerned at first the "ordered" sphere and, at the same time, itself didn't get to the billiard pocket. It is necessary to consider that as a result in the billiard pocket there has to be only the "ordered" color sphere. Points are added proceeding from its "cost". If the sphere isn't scored — the game passes to other player.

8. After all red spheres are played, color it is necessary to score in strictly certain sequence — on increase of their "price". At this stage of party the color spheres  don't return to the table any more. The party is considered finished when the last  — black — sphere is in the billiard pocket.
