  • kara is a bracelet from metal;

  • kirpan is the dagger or a short sword which is usually hidden pleated clothes or under it.

These attributes on the first letters of their names call 5 K. The sword at the same time, according to the guru of Sikhs, carries rather educational and decorative function and should not be applied to threats, violence or dictation of the will. Sikhs, knowing that their fellows at themselves always have a weapon, are respectful to each other and can always count on support of the companion in case of any conflict.
