What is integrated yoga"

Self-improvement, spiritual clarification and unification with the Principal Reason, knowledge of the world and themselves are those tasks which are set for itself by the practice of yoga, most ancient in the world. In this article we will consider one of types of the doctrine, namely — integrated yoga, the history of its emergence and difference from other currents.

What is it?

The integrated yoga is a doctrine of religious and philosophical character, the most modern look. Practice incorporated the whole complex of various knowledge, including — from already available types of yoga, having united them in a harmonious system.

The creator of the doctrine Sri Aurobindo is a philosopher, the poet, the political figure. He was born in Calcutta in 1872 in family of the doctor. Got an education in England, with success having graduated from prestigious Cambridge.

In honor of Sri Aurobindo his follower Myrrha Alfassa founded in India nowadays well-known for the whole world Aurovil, the city without policy and religion.

Comprehensively developed young man was a winner of many student's competitions: literary, historical, linguistic. He knew several languages and is in policy actively interested.

At 20-year age, having returned home, the young man joined in revolutionary activity for liberation of India from the English colonialists. Having been free the arrested then released, Aurobindo because of threat of new arrests was forced to be discharged of policy.

At 32-year age, already having some experience of studying the Indian exercises, it decided to devote them the life. Aurobindo read much, translated and studied, issued magazines and books. Having built the new system of yogichesky Vedanta (doctrine), he acquired a great number of followers and pupils.

Whether you know? In 1943 the International center of education of Sri Aurobindo was created.

Differences from other systems

The main difference of integrated yoga from other systems is a recognition of a material world. According to the founder, we are his integral part and transformation of our spirit, the unity with the Principal Reason is possible only on condition of comprehension and extraction of harmony from negative manifestations of material.

Aurobindo's Vedanta does not place emphasis on an enlightenment of individuals, its task is not to tower to Divine most, and to bring harmony and perfection to all mankind.

Each of types yogichesky the practician preaches improvement through a single function. For example:

  1. The rajah is a self-improvement through mental.
  2. Dzhnyana — self-improvement by means of reason.
  3. The karma places emphasis on a unification with the Nature.

The integrated yoga unites all parties of human essence: mental, spiritual, reason and body. The doctrine purpose — self-knowledge and development divine in, transformation of the world in the union with the Principal Reason. There are no accurate rules, there is only an indication of the direction according to which it is necessary to move on the way to Sverkhrazum, combining physical exercises, occupations meditation, work with mudra, mantras and bandha.

Important! The Vedanta considers identity of each personality, accepting human essence such what it is, does not dismiss also last lowest transformations.

Opportunities

According to the Vedanta stated in books by Aurobindo, possibilities of integrated yoga are not limited. On condition of thoughtful studying the theoretical party of the doctrine and long, high-quality practice it is possible to achieve such results:

  • to learn to see the spiritual beginning (monad);
  • to transform the appearance;
  • to clean a karma;
  • to change the personality;
  • to change the fate of the subsequent transformations;
  • to reach nirvana;
  • to lift the "I" to the highest level;
  • to transform material energy to spiritual;
  • to find ekstrasensorny abilities.

Dangers

The danger to the beginning practicians consists in absence of really knowing mentors. As the integrated yoga is connected with mystical and occult practicians, there is a real threat for the unprepared person to leave on the false way.

Ekstrasensorny abilities which are seized by the practician without deeply studying a theoretical part of the doctrine are temptation to apply them not for the good. The magic in the doctrine helps to understand and see, first of all, correctly itself in surrounding space.

Important! Wrongly the interpreted mystical knowledge can lead to self-destruction.

One more danger to pupils is concealed in moral untidiness of the Teacher who gives knowledge of particles, manipulating consciousness of the pupil, subordinating him to the will. The people who are applying for a role of the mentor, but not having for this purpose sufficient knowledge and personal experience in practice meet. Such "teacher" is not capable to explain the purposes and essences of Vedanta, to give understanding of meditation, magic in integrated yoga.

Whether you know? By means of meditation such famous people as Sting, Colin Farrell, Jon Bon Jovi, Alec Baldwin relax after the tours and shooting.

Let's sum up: the integrated yoga is a complex of the Highest yoga, occult knowledge, meditative the practician and physical exercises. The complex system demands attentive and thoughtful studying its theory, continuous practice and full return of a body and consciousness.
