1. Dried or fresh carefully wash out hips. If you prepare from a fresh dogrose, select the firm, well ripened fruits. The berries are larger – the more useful and more valuable drink will turn out.

2. Clean a fresh dogrose from fibers. Cut it in half and take out all seeds – in compote they there is nothing. Then again wash out berries under flowing water. Soak a dried dogrose in water for 5-10 minutes.

3. Prepare a sugar syrup. Boil liter of water and dissolve in it sugar. Bring syrup to the boil and pour out all berries of a dogrose. Boil some more minutes.

4. Add 2 more l of boiled water. At will it is possible to fill up dried fruits or fresh berry. Stir, bring to the boil, remove from fire and let's compote infuse within 30 minutes.

5. Filter, add lemon juice. Dogrose compote is ready.
