The most valuable medical qualities of honey do it useful at treatment of catarrhal diseases, a headache, cough, overfatigue. Honey possesses antibacterial, styptic, soothing and anti-inflammatory action. The buckwheat honey has a pleasant odor and a peculiar sharp taste. When tasting it slightly tickles a throat. This honey has dark red or dark brown color. In comparison with light grades it is richer with minerals, vitamins, iron and active enzymes. It is applied at treatment of heart troubles (it is especially useful at an anemia), at rheumatism, a hypertension, a cerebral hemorrhage, radiation injury, scarlet fever, measles.
