There are two main options of installation of the differential automatic machine. It is put one on all power supply network, or several products on one on each separate line are established. It is possible to put the differential automatic machine at selective installation not to each line but only where it is necessary to ensure safety of people at possible contact with conducting parts of electric equipment. At the same time it is necessary to be guided by the main rule of installation of difavtomat – only the expert has to do it.

Instruction

1. Check the installed device regarding damages and cracks according to requirements of Rules of installation. It needs to be made as with these malfunctions the full protection will not be provided. These rules concern one and all similar devices. It is necessary to check carefully serviceability of operation of the mechanism of turning on of the device and the corresponding marking on the case of a product. Differential automatic machines and DPS (device of protective shutdown) are almost identical products therefore they are connected equally.

2. Install the differential automatic machine in an electroboard on a DIN lath. Principle of its work: it compares the electric current passing on the phase conductor with current passing on the zero conductor. Their value is usually identical if the serviceable device and isolation of an electrical wiring is not damaged. In case in a chain there is leak current, then their value will become a miscellaneous. Difavtomat will instantly define these changes and will compare the leak current level with rated value provided for this device. When indications of current of leak exceed an indicator of rated value, the automatic machine will power off on this site of the power supply network. Power supply is possible to include anew only after debugging.

3. Connect to the differential automatic machine two wires – 220 V, zero and phase at network, or three phase and one zero at network 380 V. Difavtomat differs from OUZO in the fact that it not only protects the person from defeat by electric current, but makes automatic shutdown of any piece of network in case of an overload or short circuit. In it protection against overcurrents that is not present in OUZO is built-in. According to standard resolutions, it is recommended to make installation only of differential automatic machines. In group lines it is strictly forbidden to put ordinary OUZO if the additional device which is responsible for protection against short circuits and overloads is not necessary. There are separate regulations of installation of these devices in premises. Only the devices of protective shutdown of type "A" reacting to the pulsing and alternating currents of damages are allowed to installation. It is also possible to establish "EXPERT" OUZO, the leaks reacting only to alternating currents.
