Geometrical constructions are one of important parts of training. They form spatial and logical thinking and also allow to realize simple and natural geometrical regularities. Constructions are made on the plane by means of compasses and a ruler. These tools it is possible to construct a large number of geometrical figures. At the same time many figures seeming rather difficult are under construction with application of the simplest rules. Instruction
1. Draw a circle. Establish some distance between compasses legs. This distance will be circle radius. Choose radius so that drawing of a circle was rather convenient. The circle has to be located on the sheet of paper completely. Too big or too small distance between legs of compasses can lead to its change during drawing. The distance at which the corner between legs of compasses is equal 15-30 degrees will be optimum.
2. Construct points of tops cornerscorrectof hexagon. Establish a compasses leg in which the needle, in any point of a circle is fixed. The needle has to pierce the nacherchenny line. The more precisely the compasses will be established, the more precisely there will be a construction. Carry out a circle arch so that it crossed a circle nacherchenny earlier. Rearrange a compasses needle in a point of intersection of just nacherchenny arch with a circle. Draw one more arch crossing a circle. Again rearrange a compasses needle in a point of intersection of an arch and a circle and again draw an arch. Make this action three more times, moving in one direction on a circle. In total six arches and six points of intersection have to turn out.
3. Construct the correct hexagon. Consistently connect all six points of intersection of arches to originally nacherchenny circle. Connect points the straight lines drawn by means of a ruler and a pencil. After the made actions the correct hexagon, inscribed in a circle will be received.
