1. First of all, you need to know that the program of a research is formed only after the careful analysis of references on the subject chosen by you. Therefore on stages writing hypotheses at you the image of a problem has to be already created, and you is speculative can assume the most probable results – they and will become a basis for a hypothesis. Also, studying literature, you can meet similar works on your subject with already confirmed hypotheses. But it will not make your research less significant as you, perhaps, will manage to disprove them.
2. The concrete formulation of a hypothesis will also depend on the method chosen by you or criterion for secondary statistical data processing. Without application of mathematical methods, results of your research and the proved hypothesis will not be able to acquire the status of scientific.
3. When writing a hypothesis you need to specify two options of succession of events. Let's consider this point on the example of a task: during the research to school students suggested to estimate the level of uneasiness at a usual lesson and on an examination. Then hypotheses can look as follows: - Ho hypothesis: it is impossible to claim that uneasiness level on an examination authentically significantly differs from uneasiness level at a usual lesson. - H1 hypothesis: uneasiness level on an examination it is significant above, than at a usual lesson.
4. Remember that always the hypothesis But contains a statement which the researcher seeks to disprove and H1 hypothesis – a statement which seeks to prove.
5. Depending on result of application of mathematical methods of data processing, we can come into four fortune of the checked hypothesis: - the hypothesis But with the probability of 95% is right;-the hypothesis But with the probability of 99% is right;-H1 hypothesis with the probability of 95% is right;-H1 hypothesis with the probability of 99% is right.
6. At the end of the quantitative and qualitative analysis of results of work a conclusion with the indication of the accepted hypothesis and its statistical significance is written.
