Cepe, it is a boletus, enjoys special love of mushroom pickers. It is not accidental at all. It is prepared for the winter in all possible ways – dry, salted, pickled. Cepe both in fried, and in a boiled look is good. Sometimes boletuses grow to such sizes that one mushroom is enough for a dinner for all family. These mushrooms grow in fir and pine forests, birchwoods and even in parks where broad-leaved breeds of trees prevail.

1. It is possible to pick cepes almost all summer. They meet since the beginning of June to the middle, and even until the end of September. If the beginning of summer was warm and damp, it is possible to take safely a basket and to go to look for cepes. Find on the map of your area a pine or fir-tree pine forest, the mixed wood with prevalence of birches. Quite often cepes can be met in juniper thickets. Also the abandoned estate where hornbeams and beeches grow will be suitable for your search.
2. There are several types of cepe – fir-tree, pine, birch and others. Division purely conditional, the mushrooms growing in different forests differ in color of a hat a little. Coloring can be from henna-red to dark brown, almost black. But at any boletus a strong thick leg and a hat smooth from above. A boletus – a spongy mushroom, that is on the lower part of a hat at it a sponge, but not plates. On average it has height of 12-15 cm, the hat of a mature mushroom makes about 25 cm in the diameter. At young cepe a sponge milky-white, at mature – cream.
3. Having arrived to the forest, attentively look round. Cepes most often grow in close proximity to trees. They love and overgrown old paths. It is possible to meet by their time on lawns. Boletuses not always are noticeable at once, they hide in a moss, and in their fall difficult happens to make out among fallen leaves.
4. Fly agarics so, having come to a clearing where here and there bright red hats with white dots are visible, you look attentively happen satellites of cepes very often. It is possible that near you will see much less noticeable brown convex hats on strong thick legs. The leg most often is below wider, than from above.
5. One more sign of existence of cepes – an ant hill. Just to notice it very easily. Look ¸ what is near monastery of "forest hospital attendants". Ants almost always lodge where underground there is a mycelium of cepes. And if you see on a clearing a curative grass under the name "belous", then it too an occasion will watch more attentively the step. Cepes very much love this herb.
6. Having found cepe, attentively you watch the step. It is very probable that you will find on the same place or somewhere near some more pieces. Sometimes in the small square it is possible to find 15-20 cepes in pine forests. Big colonies of boletuses can be met also in birchwoods.
