The person far from science can formulate approximately the answer to the question "for what the astronomy is necessary?", its value for space researches, so, and our planet, obviously. However there are more exact and specific objectives of astronomy to which solution all its sections are directed.
All problems of astronomy are densely connected among themselves. The movement of a scientific thought from the particular to the general helps by means of the solution of more available tasks to get closer to the most large-scale and difficult. Within astronomy, visible provisions of celestial bodies, and then their valid, real situation are studied. Their form and the size are defined. Observations thanks to which this problem is solved were begun still in the ancient time, then for this purpose began to use laws of mechanics and to connect the latest developments of science to process. Now the astrometry deals with the called issues. In its framework the visible provision of celestial bodies is determined by the known elements of their orbits and also mathematical methods. The found celestial body needs to be studied from the point of view of its structure, the chemical composition, physical parameters of substances which are this part. The solution of this task became possible after the invention of the spectral analysis and the photo. Are engaged in this task within astrophysics. Both practical methods of researches, and theoretical are applied – on the basis of physical laws. The data which are saved up during the similar researches are necessary for the solution of the third problem of astronomy. By means of this science the mankind tries to understand process of origin and development of celestial bodies and systems which they make. For all history of observations enough data for definite answer to these questions are not collected. On the basis of available the cosmogony is engaged in work in information. The interest of the person in space is not limited to certain planets. Studying the Universe and creation of the theory of the Metagalaxy are the major problem of astronomy. And the general regularities of development of the Universe are studied by cosmology. However the full solution of a task – with the available technical capabilities and base of information – is impossible presently. Constant developments of scientists in various industries are directed to creation of such opportunity in the future.
