It is very difficult to think up something more intriguing, than Tesla's transformer. At the time, when the author of this invention – the Serbian scientist Nikola Tesla – showed it to general public, he received reputation of the sorcerer and magician. The most surprising that it is possible to assemble Tesla's transformer without special work at home, and then, at demonstration of this unit, to cause a state of shock in all the acquaintances.
Instruction
1. For a start we will be needs any source of a high-voltage current. It is necessary to find the generator or the transformer with tension not less than 5 kV. Otherwise the experiment will not turn out. Then this source of current needs to be connected to the condenser. If the capacity of the chosen condenser is big then the diode bridge will also be necessary. Then it is necessary to create a so-called "spark interval". For this purpose it is necessary to take two copper wires which ends to bend in the parties, and the basis to wind strong with an insulating tape.
2. Further it is necessary to manufacture Tesla coils. For this purpose it is necessary to wind with a wire any round detail without core (so that in the middle there was an emptiness). Primary winding has to consist of three-five rounds of a thick copper wire. The secondary winding has to contain not less than 1000 rounds. As a result, coils in the form of lentil have to turn out.
3. Then it is necessary to connect wires to primary winding of the coil and also a power source. The simplest transformer of Tesla is ready. It will be able to give categories not less than 5 centimeters and also to create "crown" around coils. It should be noted that the physical phenomena created by the Tesla transformer are not studied yet. If you manufactured the Tesla transformer which gives categories to one meter, then do not become under this category at all though it and without serious consequences. Currents of high energy do not cause touch reaction of an organism, but can strongly warm fabrics. Consequences from similar experiments will affect over the years.
