How to calculate tension in a chain

Knowledge Base Hits: 81

There are some important professions where it is required to make for work correctly calculation of tension in network. For implementation of this operation the special formula, that is a certain method of calculation is used.

In any parallel chain all resistors are connected strictly in such a way that current in network is distributed between them equally in the course of passing via these devices. The similar movement can be compared to the ordinary automobile route which is divided into two parallel roads from time to time, respectively the vehicles moving on it are divided into two streams.

To calculate unknown value of tension, the special formula based on the law of Ohm is used. It looks as follows - V=I*R where the I current, and R resistance. This calculation can be made only provided that both these parameters are known. So, if resistance level and also current is known, it is rather simple to substitute them in this formula. It should be noted that the received value for all connected resistors will be identical.

Everything is quite simple if there are two of three unknown. The situation to become complicated a little if resistance or current are unknown. R is determined by the following formula R = by R1*R2 / (R1+R2). If necessary to calculate current at the known two indicators, it is possible to apply a formula I=V/R. All similar processes can be made by means of the ordinary calculator. If necessary it is possible to calculate current in each of the installed resistors.

In the course of determination of voltage level it is recommended to sign up all received results of the made calculations on paper in networks, it concerns the current and resistance. In a situation if in a task parallel and at the same time consecutive chain was given, it is worth making all calculation a special method. It is possible to learn about it in any technical textbook. At first the parallel site pays off, and then it is necessary to increase the received result by their general quantity in consecutive network. In some sources it is possible to meet formulas in such data as V1, I1, R1. They mean the certain sizes characteristic of some one concrete resistor of the conductor. If such parameters as V, I, R are specified, it is necessary to know that it is usual general total data. The general indicator of current is equal to the sum of similar parameters in each of conductors. As for power, it is calculated by also usual addition, speaking in other words, it is result of their addition. To solve problems of such plan, professionals recommend to apply the examples specified in usual school textbooks. At the same time you should not forget to specify the units of measure intended for calculation of these sizes. It is important to remember that if tension requires to be learned a parallel chain, the parameters received as a result will be identical to all installed devices which are characterized as resistors.
