1. Collect one of the offered schemes. As the generation indicator connect the measuring device supplied with the simplest detector on the dot semiconductor diode to the output of the generator. 2. If you want to learn the resonant frequency of the quartz resonator, connect a frequency meter or an oscillograph on the output of the generator. The last gives the chance to determine frequency by Lissazhu's figures. Pay attention that quartz can be excited both at the main frequency, and on harmonicas.

3. If you do not need high precision of measurement, can use a self-made resonant wavemeter. It represents the simplest detector receiver which instead of phones switched on the arrow indicator, and the condenser of variable capacity is supplied with a scale with the indication of frequency. At the output of the generator in this case there has to be an inductance coil consisting of several rounds of a naked copper wire. About emergence of an oscillatory contour it is possible to make replaceable for different ranges of control.

4. It is possible to define working capacity and approximate resonant frequency of the quartz resonator and in a different way. Connect the small coil of communication to conclusions of the resonator. It consists of 2-5 rounds naked, and it is better than the silvered copper wire. Bring it to an oscillatory contour of the working superregenerative receiver. Arrange the receiver contour condenser so that noise of a superization completely were gone in earphones. In this case your receiver will be ready for the frequency of a resonance of the quartz resonator or for one of its harmonicas. This method does not give high precision of measurement. But it allows to judge operability of the quartz resonator.
