The starter is the device which is necessary for engine start. Use it not only in the car, but also in fluorescent lamps, and in other objects. It can become useless because of mechanical or electric malfunctions. In the first case the reason consists in wear of the used details. How to check the starter without removal?

- Fix the starter between a vice. As in the previous check, it is necessary to close contact bolts. If the starter started working, then it is worth passing to the following item.

- At the next stage the check of brushes and an anchor is carried out. For this purpose on the starter it is necessary to give tension to 12 V. How to check the starter on a fluorescent lamp?
If the lamp ceased to shine, then it is necessary to define whether it demands repair or just time to replace it came. If during inclusion only one party shines or there is a blinking, then try to put a lamp, interchanging the position of exits. It did not help, then the lamp can be utilized. Gradual reduction of a luminescence will testify to malfunction of the starter. In that case the detail needs to be changed. If the lamp dies away, the problem both in the starter, and in the lamp is lit, so. It is necessary to check tension if it too big, then it is necessary to replace a lamp, and if insufficient, then it is necessary to replace the starter.
