How to collect an electrical circuit

Knowledge Base Hits: 68

The electrical circuit is a set of various devices and objects on which electric current flows. To collect the simplest electrical circuit absolutely simply, and even the school student will be able to cope with it. Here everything that needs to be known for performance of this task.

It is required to you

Instruction

1. Remember the main components of a chain. Any electrical circuit has to contain a current source (the galvanic cell, the accumulator, a photo cell, the electric generator or other element which creates electric field, provides the movement of electric charges).

2. Besides, any chain contains the consumer (bulb or any device which will transform electric energy to mechanical, light, thermal). The source and the consumer connect among themselves wires (or conductors, i.e. those connecting elements in which there are electric charges).

3. Also additional control elements (for example, the switch or a key which closes and disconnects a chain), the devices measuring electrical quantities (ampermeter, the voltmeter) and protective devices (safety locks) enter an electrical circuit. Elements of protection connect to a chain in dangerous situations.

4. The simplest electrical circuit consists of very small number of elements: source of current, bulb, connecting wires and switch. Independently to collect such chain, first of all connect the glow lamp to a current source. For this purpose take a wire and connect by means of it a lamp and the battery (current source).

5. The following conductor (the bringing wire) connect the glow lamp to the switch (key). Pay attention that the key at assembly of a chain has to be in the opened state. Be attentive: the switch is manufactured of the carrying-out material therefore touch only the isolating handle.

6. In order that in a chain there was electric current, the chain has to be closed. Therefore it is necessary to connect a key (switch) to a current source. Connect one end of a connecting wire to the switch, and the second – to a current source. Now the electrical circuit is collected.

7. The bulb does not join only because the key is in the opened situation, and the chain, therefore, too is opened. All elements are, but there is no electric current in a chain. In order that the bulb lit up, close a key.

8. To create more difficult electrical circuit, more powerful source of current and additional elements will be required.
