Instruction
1. Define what of arrows plays a role the sentry what – minute and what counts seconds. It is the simplest "to reveal" a second hand – it moves quickly, and it is possible to track its movement on the dial easily. The minute hand, as a rule, is thinner and longer the sentry, the last – the most massive and short.
2. Note for yourself at the level of what figure put on the edge of the dial there is an hour hand. The last figure (Arab or Roman) which level it reached, and designates the number of the whole hours which passed from the moment of the beginning of day. If the arrow is between two figures, so time of the next hour already vulgarly, but it did not expire yet.
3. Pay attention now at the level of what figure there is a minute hand – it is possible to recognize by the place of its situation how many minutes in this hour already expired and how many – still remained. The distance from one figure to another corresponds to five minutes of time, distance between small pieces in five-minute intervals – one minute. Respectively, if the minute hand is, for example, at the level of figure "three", so this hour fifteen minutes expired (from "twelve" to unit – five and from unit to the two – five and from the two to "three" five more – only fifteen).
4. Correlate indications of arrows hour and minute and receive the exact indication currently of time of day which can be complemented also with indications of the second hand counting compound shares of minute by the same principle. Remember that second hands supplied not all arrow hours.
