The magnet loses the properties over time. Besides, it can degauss as a result of heating. Of course, it is simpler to buy a new magnet, but if it is difficult to find a product of the necessary form, it is possible to try to load it.

1. If it is required to restore a magnet temporarily, place it near the powerful operating magnet of a direct current, having paid attention to polarity. Leave a design for a month or two, then estimate a condition of the loaded product – you will see that it began to work better. Thus it is possible to magnetize any metal subject, for example, the screw-driver, but its properties pretty fast will disappear.

2. If it is required to load a magnet more thoroughly, collect installation from the coil and a magnet. For this purpose reel up the coil in 50-200 rounds (its sizes have to exceed the core sizes for 30-40%) from a copper wire and place inside a magnet. Consider that between a wire and a magnet there has to be an insulator – air, paper, an insulating tape or other material which is not carrying current. If the magnet already has a polarity, orient it in the coil correctly, for this purpose you can use a usual compass.

3. Take the condenser with a capacity not less than 5000 mkf and charge it from an electrical network. Then connect terminals on the coil (via the switch) and, having pressed the button, discharge it. The field formed inside will load a magnet. Instead of the condenser it is possible to use ordinary batteries or accumulators of 5-12 volts.

4. To load or restore properties of the magnet made in the industrial way use tension of network of 220 V. For this purpose reel up through an insulating layer the coil from a copper wire, 400-600 rounds in size.

5. Take the fuse with the maximum current in 1-1.5 Ampere, it can be the thin copper conductor no more than 0.05 mm thick or the safety lock to Bosa in a glass tube (it is safer as the rasplavny wire remains within a tube).

6. Take a usual network fork with wires and connect consistently the coil and the safety lock. Include installation in network, at the same time the safety lock will burn down, but the electromagnetic field formed in the coil will magnetize the metal located inside.

7. Be very careful during the last way as you will work with deadly tension. Remove from the room of women, children and animals, and you steer clear of installation as the splashes of the heated metal flying from the safety lock can get into eyes and on skin.
