Royal vodka is a mix of hydrochloric and nitric acids. It has strong oxidizing ability therefore it is capable to dissolve even gold. From here and its name – time this acid corrodes "the tsar of metals" - gold, and the name thought up "royal" too.

- Nitric acid;
- Hydrochloric acid;
- Glass test tube for mixing of acids with a marking;
- Glass stick.
Instruction
1. For receiving royal vodka it is necessary to mix one part of nitric acid and three parts salt. Proportions have to be precisely observed, otherwise chemical reaction will be weak and short-term. You should not pour reactants "by eye" as thus you will not achieve ideal accuracy. For this reason the test tube has to be with divisions at once precisely to measure the necessary amount of acids.
2. As it is the best of all to avoid use of additional ware for measuring off of the necessary amount of liquid, it is better to add acid to one test tube at once. The more you pour acids from one capacity in another – the more chances to spill it.
3. Respectively, you need to pour at first in a test tube the necessary amount of hydrochloric acid as production of royal vodka it requires more on volume, than nitric, and when mixing dangerous reactants it is recommended to add smaller to bigger to avoid splashes of acid and to reduce risk of a chemical burn.
4. Then add the necessary amount of nitric acid. You do not hurry at all, otherwise you can spill acid and suffer. Pour in it a thin stream without splashes. Do not bend to a test tube and do not try to glance in it – vapors of any acids are very dangerous therefore you should not breathe and allow them hits in eyes. All manipulations should be made on the maximum removal from the face.
5. After you poured in both acids in a test tube, accurately stir the turned-out liquid a glass stick that components mixed up, but were not stratified (do not shake up a test tube at all – it is dangerous!). Everything, royal vodka is ready. At first it will be light yellow color as initially there was hydrochloric acid, and within half an hour color will be replaced with dark orange. It means what all of you made correctly and in a test tube there is an active chemical reaction.
