Prefixes To (Kilogram), M (MEGA), (Gigabyte), T (Tera) are borrowed from a decimal system as number 1024 (byte) is very close to 1,000. And in decimal system 103 call the Kilogram. 1048576 close to 1,000,000, and in binary system 106 it is accepted to call a prefix MEGA. Similarly with 1 073 741 824, approximately equal 1 000 000 000, that is 109 - in a binary system call the Gigabyte prefix. And 1 099 511 627 776 approximately accept equal 1 000 000 000 000, and it – is designated 1012 by the Tera prefix.
