The overtraining is a disease state of the athlete which arises, as a rule, at strong constant loads.

Overtraining symptoms

Each athlete has to know signs of overtraining:

  4. Loss of interest in trainings.
  5. Constant irritability.
  6. Loss of appetite.
  7. The increased heartbeat.
  8. Weakening of the immune system.

Overtraining and its stages

  1. The main sign at this stage is the sleep disorder.
  2. To a bad dream it is added, the general deterioration in an organism (apathy, somnolence, excessive perspiration and others). The athlete looks broken, integuments become pale.
  3. There is an increase of a neurasthenia. Signs become rather extensive and gain various character.

The overtraining and overstrain are the two factors caused by excessive physical activity.

The overstrain is a state which can be caused by strong loadings or pathology. If in due time not to take certain measures, then it can develop into overtraining. To prevent two of these conditions of people it is simply obliged to know all reasons and signs on which they can arise. In due time the trainer has to direct the ward to inspection to physicians.

Treatment options

As soon as the first symptoms of overtraining were shown it is necessary to take measures immediately:

  1. To stop trainings for some time.
  2. To sleep not less than 10 hours a day.
  3. It is balanced to eat.

Treatment stops only when having started trainings, the athlete shows positive results. It is necessary to reduce the number of trainings also.
