America covers two continents: South America and Northern. Thanks to it, the fauna in this part of the world is big and various. However there is some similarity between fauna of a northern part of America and Eurasia.

1. America is known for the grizzly bear which claws reach 13 cm. It is possible to meet it mainly on Alaska. Also here wolves, polar foxes, gluttons, foxes and a kind small animal a beaver live.
2. In some regions of Canada it is possible to meet a cariboo and a musk ox, and in mountains - a snow ram which hooves thanks to the bifurcation are ideal for the rocky area.
3. From the cat family the puma and a lynx live in North America, and in Southern the ocelot, the animal included in the Red List, growth of all in meter meets.
4. Also in South America there lives a little deer to pood, not higher than 40 cm in height. And in forests of Amazonia highly on trees korotkokhvosty monkeys of Uakari settled down. There is a surprising jubate wolf different from the relatives what eats not only birds, but also fruit and even some plants.

7. The only poisonous lizard in the world - a zhilatya, or Gila-monstr lives in the deserts of America. Its poison is not dangerous to the person. But poison of a rattlesnake which can also be met on the northern continent is dangerous.
8. In America there are many types of birds. The white-headed sea eagle is considered a symbol of America. And the biggest bird here is the Andean condor living in mountains.
