Though plants and animals occurred from the general ancestor, bodies of flowers and trees are not similar to bodies of animals or the person at all. Nevertheless, they perfectly serve the owners, perform the functions ordered them, and do it so effectively that allowed representatives of the kingdom of plants to be settled on all planet.
In flora bodies call those parts of plants which have the similar building and perform certain functions. All bodies can be divided into two groups: vegetative and generative. Vegetative bodies of plants are responsible for necessary processes of activity – breath, food, vegetative reproduction, protection, and generative participate in sexual reproduction.
Vegetative bodies of plants
Roots and also listostebelny escapes belong to vegetative bodies at representatives of the kingdom of plants. The root participates in plant food: it absorbs water and mineral substances from the soil and transports them to a stalk. Also by means of a grass root, flowers and trees gain a foothold in the soil and can resist to mechanical influence. The root is capable not only to absorb and transport nutrients, in it they can be laid, and then be spent in case of need. Besides, this part of a plant is capable to enter symbiosis with mushrooms and microorganisms and also to synthesize biologically active agents. Depending on conditions in which the plant grows the roots can change. Air roots, stilted roots, roots catches and roots suckers meet. Roots can be thickened and form root crops and root tubers.
Escape consists of a stalk with the leaves and kidneys located on it. One of the main functions of this body – photosynthesis which provides a plant with energy. The stalk serves as a mechanical axis, and leaves contain in a large number a chlorophyll – the pigment absorbing sunlight and transforming it to glucose. Also the leaf is organ of respiratory, evaporation and removal of excess water. Modified leaves can serve for protection (prickle), support (short moustaches), production catching (lovchy leaves at predatory plants), water storage (leaves at succulents). Listostebelny escapes also participate in vegetative reproduction.
Generative bodies
The generative body at plants is a flower. It participates in sexual reproduction. Depending on a floor the main part of a flower is the pestle (at female individuals) or a stamen (at men's). In a boot of a stamen disputes which then get to a pestle where the ovary is formed ripen. In the nature also oboyepoly plants which flowers possess at the same time both a pestle, and a stamen quite often meet. Around a stamen or a pestle the perianth protecting these parts from damages and attracting pollinators is located.
