Everyone daily deals with water. Much had to watch waters of the rivers and lakes, seas and oceans. Whether but all know what color water has? In a usual glass glass this reviver seems colourless. Whether so it? Pure color differs from shades of moisture which meets under natural conditions.

Scientists established what original color of water. It is blue. However this coloring is so weak that in small volume liquid seems colourless. But if attentively to consider water in a big aquarium, it is possible to see its bluish shade.

In close proximity to the ocean coast, water is filled with very small plants and particles of organic origin. Water plants contain a number of a chlorophyll which reflects green color. Water near the coastal line also has such shade.
If to consider the pictures of the planet made from the space station it is possible to see what regions of the World Ocean are filled with living organisms and where water flora is poor. Blue color in the picture will indicate waters where life does not differ in richness of forms. A green shade of water in the pictures taken from space – the evidence of abundance of microorganisms.
Features of passing of rays of light through thickness of water influences also perception of its color by swimmers or crews of submarines. Closer to a surface water will seem yellowish. In process of immersion it will begin to seem blue-green. And at the biggest depths water will gain dim blue color. Muddy water is perceived by more dark.
In general it is established that any of heterogeneity as a part of liquid (for example, the weighed particles) are capable to give to water the most fancy coloring. For this reason in pictures of the famous artists who paint pictures with the image of sea open spaces it is possible to meet very unusual color combinations.
