The furnace in most cases is located in the house and is part of interior. After laying it looks not really esthetically. It is very difficult to keep its rough parts clean. For creation of good exterior it is necessary to use finishing materials.

1. The surface of the furnace can just be plastered. It is possible to perform this work only after final drying of laying. For a start the surface needs to be cleaned from clay. Further you can pass to clearing of seams. These actions are carried out in order that plaster well stuck to wall. Also you can use the metal gauze. It fastens to the surface of the furnace dual delays which are put in seams in advance. Their ends have to be located at distance of 8 cm from each other.

2. Before plastering surely well heat the furnace. Moisten hot surface with water and apply on it solution in two layers. The first layer has to have consistence of sour cream. The second layer has to be more dense. On average thickness of layers has to be 6-8 mm. If the surface has roughnesses, then it is possible to increase thickness of layer to 10 mm. After putting solution of plaster you can pass to alignment and floating.

3. Dry components of solution need to be sifted through sieve. After that in a dry form it is necessary to mix sand, cement and asbestos. Add this mix to lime solution. If you have decided to use also plaster, then dissolve it separately, and then connect to lime mortar. For plaster strengthening you can add a little salt to solution. On 10 l of solution there will be enough 300-400 g.

4. For decoration of the plastered surface it is possible to use rustic masonry. Dummy joints represent superficial grooves. They can be put on the surface of plaster by means of lacing. At first you need to plan future geometrical pattern. After that ruler and lacing cut dummy joints. After grooves are cut, can paint the furnace. Deepenings most often paint in white color, and surface of geometrical figures any other.
