There is a set of types of quadrangles. It both rectangle, and square, and rhombus, and trapeze, and various wrong quadrangles. It is possible to construct them by means of the most ordinary drawing tools.
It is required to you

- - pencil;
- - ruler;
- - triangle;
- - protractor.
Instruction
1. To construct any quadrangle, no data are necessary. Draw a straight line. Note its ends notches. By the ends of a piece draw straight lines so that they lay on one side of already drawn straight line. Make on each beam on a notch where it will be pleasant to you more, and connect the received points a straight line. The quadrangle is ready.
2. For creation of other quadrangles some additional data are necessary. For example, to draw a square, it is necessary to know the size of the party. Corners are known to you, in a square each of them makes 90 °. Draw the straight line equal to the set length of the party. Of course, as well as in the previous case, perpendiculars have to be on one side from the initial line. Note the ends notches. To each notch carry out a perpendicular. Postpone the given size of the party on each perpendicular. Connect the received points.
3. To construct a rectangle, data is necessary slightly more. You need to know length and width of a rectangle. It is under construction almost the same as a square. Draw a straight line, postpone on it rectangle length. Construct perpendiculars and postpone on everyone width. Connect final points and check the work – the line received at connection of the ends of perpendiculars has to equal to rectangle length.
4. The rhombus can be constructed if length of its party and the size of one of corners are known. For this work you need a protractor. Draw a straight line, postpone on it length of the party of a rhombus. From one of marks postpone the known size of a corner. Connect the received point to that to which you put a zero mark of a protractor. On the received straight line postpone length of the party again. Through the ends of pieces draw parallel lines to both straight lines. Check work, having measured the parties – they have to be identical.
5. To draw a trapeze, you need to know the sizes of its bases, distance between them (that is height) and corners. Draw a straight line, postpone on it the size of the bigger basis. From each of marks postpone the sizes of corners. Through marks draw straight lines, but so far do not limit them. To any point of the lower basis carry out a perpendicular – height. Through this new point in both parties draw the line parallel to already available basis, before crossing with the parties of corners.
