The liter as unit of measure of volume is not used in the metric system of SI accepted in the majority of the countries including Russia. Therefore, according to state standard specifications, volumes on packings of medicinal, food and other products are often specified in cubic centimeters. However and the liter is used very often, and in the SI system has the status "units which can be used together with SI". Such ambiguity often causes the necessity to transfer cubic centimeters to liters and back.
Instruction
1. Divide the number of cubic centimeters into one thousand to learn to what number of liters they correspond. 2. Use the calculator for the practical translation of the volumes designated in cubic centimeters in their liter equivalent. For example, in the standard calculator of the Windows operating system such recalculation is provided in the converter of units of measure which is built in it. It is possible to open this calculator through dialogue of start of programs. Open the main menu on the Start-up button and select the Execute item or press a combination of the keys WIN + R.
