Women dye hair to change the image. Having correctly picked up tone of hair, it is possible to make eyes brighter, more expressive, the complexion – more exactly, and its form – is more perfect. But, unfortunately, it can turn out and vice versa. If color is chosen unsuccessfully, it is capable to add decade and to make noticeable any defects of skin. Therefore it is very important to define tone of hair correctly.

- On saturation the natural hair color of the person has one of seven levels of tone (some experts distinguish 10 levels). And, such division is based not on simplification for convenience of its definition, and on results of scientific research. It is known that the tone depends on ratio of pigments in hair. Most often it is about such figures: 2 – the brunette, 4 – the brown-haired person, 5 – the light brown-haired person, 6 – the dark blonde, 7 – the blonde, 9 – very light blonde. Others of tone meet seldom or are badly distinguishable, especially dark.
- First of all, you have to define to what figure there corresponds your tone. For this purpose find the color map with samples of locks of hair. Remember that this card has to be obligatory the same firm which paint you are going to use.
- Bring to roots of the hair (far away from forehead) the lightest lock from set. If hair are more dark than this sample, take following from the card, more dark. Stop when you understand that the color of hair and sample has ideally matched. Remember this figure. Keep in mind that it is always necessary to begin determination of tone from the lightest and to dark, and not vice versa, differently you will be mistaken at least on tone.
- Begin with the simplest: define, the brunette you, the brown-haired woman or the blonde. Further whenever possible narrow this definition: dark or light brunette (blonde or brown-haired woman). The third stage – right choice of figure to which there corresponds your tone. Remember that usually all people, even professionals, zasvetlyat hair, i.e. appropriate to them the tone is lighter, than it is actually.
- When you have found tone figure necessary to you, for purchase of the correct paint of it not enough. Get up in front of the mirror and estimate the appearance. Remember that warm shades usually give to the face flush therefore if you know that you your skin already pinkish that you are inclined to allergic reactions or in conversation often redden, reddish shades of hair-dye not for you.
- Consider also color of eyes. Red, golden and other hair of warm colors suit people with brown, nut and green eyes, and light golden or cold tone most of all go to people with white skin and with gray or blue eyes. Not to be mistaken with tone of hair, try to define also the tsvetotip appearance. It is not enough to know the natural tone. Important also to understand whether paint of any given tone suits you. Four tsvetotip allocate: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
- Women of spring type can use any warm, light and golden shades (but not light-red), but have to avoid cold light paints and black color.
- To summer tsvetotip, as well as spring, do not go dark tone, but they can use cool light shades. With what – depends on skin color and eyes. You have to watch that later clarification not to seem absolutely colourless.
- Falls are necessary saturated hair color therefore it is necessary to choose warm chestnut, brown, chocolate tone and black color, and blond, golden, copper and orange tone will look unnaturally.
- Recommend to female winters ashy chestnut-colored color. Light, warm and golden tone not for them. They safely are able to afford also black color. But at the same time it is necessary to remember that brunettes have to have faultless skin, otherwise any defect will be well visible.
