At diagnostics of Internet connection for elimination of the reason of malfunctions in network the user should make operations on restoring access which are connected with connection settings. At impossibility to again lift network it is possible to resort to the procedure of cleaning of the routing table.
Instruction
1. Cleaning of the routing table is executed at impossibility of recovery of network connection by other methods. For reset you will need to cause the command line and to enter the corresponding command.
2. Open the Start menu and enter in the search string request "Command line". Click with a left mouse button on the received result and wait for emergence of a black-and-white window in which it will be necessary to enter the necessary request.
3. Set the cursor to initial position and by means of the keyboard register a command:
route – f
Click Enter to begin command execution. Wait several seconds before reset of data and emergence of a new line in a window of the command line. Zeroing of the routing table is complete, and you can close the terminal.
4. After implementation of the procedure all routes which are specified in settings of network connection will be reset. All data entered by users will be nullified, and you will be able to enter settings of your network again. Also Internet access will be gone.
5. If for implementation of connection to network your provider uses automatic routes and the DHCP protocol, the routing table will be restored after reset. For recovery of settings you do not carry out any changes in adapter parameters, and restart the computer that all earlier entered settings were installed again.
6. If after reset the data were not recovered, you should register manually necessary parameters according to instructions of your provider.
7. If connection still does not work after reset of the computer, you can contact technical support of provider. Describe a problem and the code of error which appears in the course of connection and also report operations which you made for correction of a problem. The lack of access to network can be connected with the equipment installed on the side of your service provider for Internet connection.
