Execution of setup of a remote server of reports means preliminary change of operation parameters of a firewall Windows and permission of use of requests on the ports participating in operation of the selected server.
Instruction
1. Open the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system by clicking of the Start-up button and pass into the All Programs point for performing operation of setup of remote connections to the database of the server of reports.
2. Specify the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 point and open the link "Customizers".
3. Pass into the section "SQL Server Configuration Manager" and open the Network SQL Server Configuration node doubleclick of a mouse.
4. Select the Protocols item and include protocols of TCP/IP and the selected channels.
5. Execute restart of SQL Server service for application of the selected changes and return to the main menu "Start-up" for implementation of activation of remote administration in a firewall.
6. Open a context menu of the Command line element by click of the right mouse button and specify the Start on behalf of the Administrator command.
7. Enter value: netsh.exe firewall set service type=REMOTEADMIN mode=Enable scope=ALL
in a text box of the command line also click a function key of Enter for confirmation of execution of the command of start of service.
8. Once again return to the main menu "Start-up" and pass into the Control panel point for performing operation of setup of permissions of DCOM for permission of remote access to utilitpm WMI.
9. Specify the Administration point and select the Services of Components item.
10. Open the Computers node and specify the My Computer point.
11. Reveal the menu "Activities" and specify the Properties point.
12. Select the section "Safety of COM" and execute clicking of the Edit Restrictions button in the section "Permissions to Start and Activation".
13. Enter a user name and confirm the choice with clicking of the OK button.
14. Apply checkboxes on the Remote Access and Remote Activation fields in the section "Allow" of the Permissions for the User or Group node and confirm application of the selected changes with clicking of the OK button.
15. Return to the Control of the Computer menu and open the link "Services and Applications" for implementation of the procedure of change of parameters of permissions of namespace of the WMI server.
16. Open a context menu of the WMI Control component by click of the right mouse button and specify the Properties point.
17. Select the Safety tab of the opened dialog box and consistently open folders:
- Root;
- Microsoft;
- SQL Server;
- ReportServer;
- MSSQLServer;
- v10.
18. Specify the Admin folder and execute clicking of the Safety button.
19. Use the option "Add" for definition of the user name intended for server management, and apply checkboxes on fields:
- "Include the account";
- "Include remotely";
- "Read safety".
20. Confirm application of the selected changes with clicking of the OK button.
