All pages located on one server have the general IP address matching the server address. It is possible to recognize him by means of console commands or the websites which are specially intended for this purpose.

1. The easiest way learn the IP address of the server on which the page interesting you is located - to use the console ping command. It is available both in Linux, and in Windows. As argument it is necessary to enter not full of the URL page, and only a domain name of the server on which it is located. It is necessary to lower even the line http://. For example, if the address of the page looks as http://domainn.ame/folder/otherfolder/page.html, it is necessary to enter the next line: ping domainn.ame, where domainn.ame - a domain name of the server. In Windows to the server four requests will be sent then the program runtime will be completed automatically. In Linux its work should be completed manually, having keyed Ctrl+C. In the first of the lines displayed by the program you will find the IP address of the server on which the page is located. Do not use the command keys allowing to make request by too long at all - the server will apprehend such actions as the attack and for a long time will block you.
2. During the work on the Internet on the tablet or the mobile phone the command line is unavailable. To learn the server IP address with the page interesting you, pass to the following website: http://2ip.ru/lookup/.Vvedite a domain name in the field "IP address or domain" then click "Check". Wait for reset of the page, and you obtain the requested information.
3. It is much more interesting to obtain information on all chain of the nodes connecting your computer to the server on which the page is located. For this purpose use the traceroute command (in Linux) or tracert (in Windows). For example: traceroute domainn.ametracert domainn.ame. The program gradually, in process of request passing, will display information on the IP addresses and domain names of all intermediate nodes. When the utility reaches the server on which the page interesting you is located, it will automatically stop.
