Modules are intended for execution of the most different tasks among which there is a recognition of clients, communication with users, the hit counter, search, vote and many other things. For unloading of the module on the website it is possible to use in several ways.
Instruction
1. Find the module which you want to install on the website in the Internet. Make sure that its configuration resembles under the version of your resource. Download the file and install it on the test website. Check operability of the module, define necessary components and expansions and only after that you can unload the program on the main website.
2. Come into "The panel of the administrator" of your website. Pass into the Expansions menu and select the Install/delete item. After that there has to be a page of the manager of expansion in which it is necessary to press the Load the File of a Package button. Specify the link to a necessary package of the module and press the Load and Install button.
3. Use the second way of unloading of the module if specified does not help to download the program to the website. Start the Total Commander program. When copying the file specify "Install from the folder" and confirm command execution.
4. Press the Load the File of a Package button and specify the URL address of arrangement of the module which needs to be unloaded. After the link is recognized, click "Install".
5. Come into the section "Manager of Modules" and turn on the unloaded module that it was added on the website. Edit its arrangement. The described ways are suitable for the websites working at Joomla.
6. Create on the website the special folder for modules. It needs to be made if the website works with CMS Drupal. If you use the Denver virtual server, then URL to this folder will look so: /WebServers/home/your.site/www/sites/all/modules/.
7. Look through the text file readme.txt which, as a rule, is in archive with the module. In it features of unloading of the program can be specified the website or the step-by-step instruction is described that sometimes is very useful to the beginning webmaster. Come into the section "Management of the Website" and unload modules then put them into operation.
