Extracts are established practically in each house today. Use of these household appliances allows to get rid of smells of the cooked food and to protect furniture and finishing of kitchen from ashes, thaw of fat, condensate and so forth. Mounting of extract if desired can be executed also the hands.

Two main types of extracts can be established in modern kitchens:

  • recirculation;

The second type of devices is actually exhaust. Such devices take away air of their kitchen and remove it to the air shaft of the building. Recirculation extracts purify the polluted air and throw out it back to the room. The technology of mounting of devices of both of these types differs a little.

Kitchen extracts are classified by design on:

  • suspended;
  • dome;
  • inclined planes;
  • built in;

Suspended extracts fix over plates under cabinet. In a different way such devices are called flat or kozyrkovy. Dome or chimney extracts are mounted over cooking surface on wall.

The built-in models are established in suspended cabinets over plate. The main advantage of such devices is that they are absolutely imperceptible in interior.

When choosing extract of flowing type it is necessary to pay attention to diameter of its exit. It is desirable to connect to it air ducts of the same section. It is possible to reduce diameter, in principle. But to do skilled masters do not advise it. Otherwise the extract will work is too noisy.

Also upon purchase of extract it is necessary to consider the fact that its length and width should not be less corresponding parameters of cooking surface. To use devices with net area it is more, than at plate, it is allowed.

Installation of household appliances of this version as follows is made:

  • in kitchen actually extract is mounted;
  • the device is connected to power supply;
  • the air duct joins extract;
  • the air duct is removed to the air shaft;
  • the decorative ventilating grate is fixed.

Air ducts for extracts can be used different types. If desired it is possible to draw conclusion to the mine with application of sleeves:

  • corrugated;
  • rectangular;

At connection of extract to the mine of ventilation the air duct is conducted at first to wall horizontally. Then pass it strictly vertically towards air vent. On joints use knee by 90 degrees. All connections in air duct pressurize.

Sometimes suspended extracts mount also in the open way. In this case they are just fixed most often between cabinets of complete kitchen. At the same time the air duct is passed on the wall usually, on collars.

Extracts of this type usually already go complete with air ducts. They are mounted on such technology:

  • by means of level on wall pencil the horizontal line mark becomes;
  • depending on height of arrangement of opening of the exhaust mine, excess part of air duct is cut off or it is increased;
  • by the extract sizes on wall vertical marks become;
  • on axes openings are drilled;
  • dowels are inserted into openings;
  • the upper part of design is fixed by screws;
  • the lower part of extract is fixed;
  • the air duct is removed to the mine by means of crepe paper.

For installation of models of this type it is possible to use, of course, and the cabinet which is specially made for this purpose. But sometimes owners of apartments mount similar devices nevertheless and in normal complete kitchens. It is so possible to do in case the design of the cabinet located over plate allows to install the exhaust device at admissible height.

Of course, kitchen furniture before installation of extract should be prepared in a special way. In cabinet for mounting of such equipment:

  • remove bottom;
  • cut out opening under air duct in cover, being guided by diameter of the last;
  • establish the additional shelf on extract height;

At the final stage the body of the device fix in cabinet to wall and to the shelf established over it.

Extracts of this type, unlike normal, are allowed to be established over the electric stove at the height of 35-45 cm, and over gas — 55-65 cm. Inclined devices by the same principle, as any other wall household appliances are mounted. That is for their installation:

  • carry out marking on wall;
  • fix the device by means of fixtures going in set.

At the final stage of mounting connect extract to the mine air duct according to the normal scheme.

Devices of this type are installed on simpler technology, than flowing models. In this case it is not necessary to mount air ducts. Recirculation extracts, as well as inclined planes, just by fastening to wall over plate are established.

According to the instruction, it is necessary to mount similar models with use of construction level. At the same time it is necessary to carry out marking under them as it is possible more carefully.

The majority of modern extracts has rather small power. And therefore to connect them to the household power supply network it is allowed by means of normal plug adapters. Extracts from tension in 220 V work. That is it is possible to connect them in simple single-phase networks.

The socket for extract it is necessary to place higher than the level of its working surface. Otherwise in the subsequent it will quickly become soiled. And of course, it is worth mounting the socket for extract in the readily available place.

Most often extracts in apartments and country houses connect on shleyfovy technology. That is stretch to the new socket wire from other socket located most closer. At the same time use the copper cable with a section of 1.5-2 mm.

It is considered that it is optional to strobit wall for laying of wire under extract. Today on sale are available special esthetic box in which cable laying can be made in the open way.
