1. Start idling adjustment, being guided by the requirements specified in technical documentation. Regulating engine speed of saw idling, achieve that the engine worked steadily, and the saw chain did not move on the tire. There should not be smoking of the engine. When you sharply press handle-bar throttle, the engine has to gain steam quickly.
2. Start the engine and warm up it on small and medium turns. By means of the screw achieve steady operation of the unit on such turns at which the chain does not move on the tire. At strong smoking of the engine partially wrap the carburetor screw to impoverish mix. At the same time the smoke of release will decrease, and turns will raise.
3. Now establish the minimum turns again, having a little unscrewed the screw. It is required for check of acceleration performance of the engine. Sharply press handle-bar throttle against the stop approximately for 3 seconds. The engine at the same time will begin to gain steam. If the engine has decayed or gains steam slowly, slightly unscrew the carburetor screw. At the same time engine speed will decrease. To increase speed, wrap the screw, and then again check acceleration performance of the engine. Upon termination of adjustment fix the screw lock-nuts.
4. After adjustment of idling and running in of the chainsaw make engine adjustment on the maximum power. Adjustment is carried out by the carburetor screw at optimum operating mode of the engine. When you partially screw up the screw, mix is depleted, at screwing out – is enriched. Define the most advantageous position of the screw of the carburetor experimentally when sawing wood.
5. Be attentive at adjustment of the carburetor. Due to the lack of experience the full maladjustment of the device is possible that it can lead to difficulty of engine firing and unstable operation of the chainsaw.
