Fertilizers favorably influence the soil and promote good harvest. But it is necessary to consider features of each fertilizer separately not to do much harm. It is possible to fertilize potatoes in various ways.
1. Ashes. Especially valuable fertilizer containing all elements except nitrogen. It should be noted that this eco-friendly fertilizer. Store this type of fertilizer in the dry, enclosed space as at contact with moisture, ashes lose the properties. Apply ashes together with nitrogen fertilizers, so it is more effective and useful to potatoes. Ashes can be brought on the soil, both in the spring, and in the fall.
2. Nitrogen fertilizers. Consider, thanks to the properties, nitrogen fertilizers are easily washed away from the soil therefore this type of fertilizer is annually brought in the spring.
3. Phosphoric fertilizers. Thanks to the fact that phosphorus is slowly acquired by plants apply it (mixed up with manure) 1 time in 2 years in the fall.
4. Manure. The most widespread and favourite way of fertilizer of the soil. It is more available and cheap. It is recommended to fertilize the soil in that quantity in what you have reaped crop. For example, if you have collected 100 kg of potatoes, it is enough to fertilize next year manure 100-130 kg. Of course, it is also necessary to consider properties of the soil therefore on some sites a little more fertilizers will be required.
