The full-fledged harvest of tomatoes is possible only at the correct care for plants. Otherwise they or will not manage to ripen, or fruits will be the small size. But there is nothing impossible therefore to grow up tomatoes it will turn out even at not the really experienced gardener if he tries.
Instruction
1. Buy seeds of tomatoes. Take small-fruited for salting and large to do salads or just is. Consult with the seller if you badly understand grades.
2. Attentively read information on packing. If seeds are not processed by special structure from diseases, disinfect them in potassium permanganate solution. For this purpose dissolve manganese in clear water at the rate of 1 g of powder on 250 ml of liquid. In a day dry seeds that they were easier to be sowed.
3. Prepare boxes for seedling. Fill in them fertile soil, it is desirable that that is on sale in shops. The earth from kitchen garden contains few nutrients which are so necessary for young plants.
4. Make superficial grooves (1-2 cm) in the earth and seed seeds. If it grieves you to thin out seedling, display seeds by means of tweezers on distance of 10 cm from each other. The procedure, of course, will take a lot of time, but also the expense of seeds will considerably be reduced.
5. Water landings of room temperature and cover box with cellophane film. As soon as there are shoots, remove film that it did not hamper the normal growth of tomatoes. You make further watering in process of drying of the earth, but try not to flood it.
6. Plant seedling to the greenhouse or in hotbed at the beginning or in the middle of May – it depends on weather patterns. If you are going to replace tomatoes to the open ground at once, wait when there are no threats of frosts, otherwise young plants will die.
7. Several times during the summer you bring organic or mineral additives that tomatoes grew better. But observe dosage (it is specified on packing), the surplus of fertilizer can provoke death of plants.
8. Delete stepsons from plants. There are they from bosoms of leaves and hamper the normal growth of fruits as absorb all nutrients. Reap crop in process of maturing of tomatoes.
