Instruction
1. Define what height there will be podium. If high, supply it with figurative step or make convenient steps. Arranging podium from 0.5 m high, use zone under it for storage of various things or for arrangement of sliding bed. From face of podium it is possible to organize regiments or drawers. Choosing the place for construction of design, take care of that passing about the room, you did not stumble through it, especially if it is quite low.
2. Make framework for podium. Use for this purpose wooden bar or metal section. If the podium borders on walls, note on them the level of its height.
3. On the planned line fasten bar or metalprofile. Establish logs, having them at right angle. Place support at distance of 40 cm from each other that the flooring laid further did not cave in.
4. Fix racks by nails. For creation of sound insulation lay expanded polystyrene or the rubber ribbon having property of sound absorption under logs.
5. Then arm with the screw driver and self-tapping screws and from all directions fasten plywood or OSB plates to framework. Previously saw sheathing matreiat on fragments. It will allow to lay it on framework without any difficulties. Between fragments, in order to avoid material deformation emergence, leave small intervals.
6. After covering of framework start creation of finishing covering. Use for this purpose parquet, carpet, tile, massive board or linoleum. As a rule, for allocation of design it is trimmed with material, other than that which has covered floor in the room.
7. Quite often for illumination build in dot or luminescent lamps faces of steps. For them make openings by means of drill with crown of the corresponding size, and hide communications under covering.
