Pools on the parcels have stopped being element of luxury and have turned into need. Especially it is relevant for those house owners whose sites are located in zones with arid and hot climate. In such cases to build the pool it is possible to resort to expensive services of contractors or to make efforts and to perform this work independently.
Before thinking of construction of the pool, not superfluous will be to think of alternatives. The homestead reservoir can replace the frame pool which is not demanding the device of ditch or even children's inflatable design.
However, if among target qualities of the pool the functionality and durability appear, the house owner needs to establish full-fledged reservoir.
For a start it is necessary to decide on type of engineering systems of reservoirs. They are two types: skimmer and overflow. The main difference for the consumer that the overflow pool holds height of water with board level. At skimmer the height of water is 15 cm lower than board level.
If to lower all engineering subtleties, then the consumer should know that overflow pools are approximately for 30% more expensive of skimmer systems, at the same time the first demand rather big space under bowl bottom for laying of system.
At the same time installation of difficult plumbing system besides the high price demands the qualified mounting. Therefore normal connection to the water disposal system is suitable for independent installation better. In that case, it is necessary to fill the pool in the non-automated way.
First of all, it is necessary to decide on placement of the pool. Optimum to leave the sufficient place for pass from edge of reservoir and fence. Depth of bowl is defined by that who will use finally the pool – children or adults.
It is better to locate the pool as it is possible closer to water supply that will save funds for laying of communications.
Having decided on the sizes and arrangement, it is necessary to pass to the organization of ditch which bottom has to exceed the final depth of bowl on one and a half meters.
Walls of bowl are established with small expansion – by 3-6 degrees that will lower load of them.
The next stage – on previously condensed soil of bottom is poured sand by layer in 30 cm. At this stage the place for carrying out outflow pipe is defined and the corresponding opening is established.
Afterwards keeps within waterproofing layers. Practice shows that it is enough to lay double layer of roofing material with bituminous mastic or to use other waterproofing means.
Further in technical niches the timbering is established, installation of steel grid which is filled in with concrete structure subsequently is carried out. On technology the first layer is the share of bottom. Afterwards the structure is applied on walls.
After full hardening of concrete the timbering is removed. Walls and bottom by means of paint brush are processed by structure from water and cement.
If walls of bowl have roughnesses, they should be closed up by means of mix from cement and sand. You should not neglect this work as the flatness of laying of tile or mosaic will depend on it. The next stage of wall and bottom of bowl are processed by waterproofing structure on the basis of polymers.
Decoration of wall and dock apron can be made by means of mosaic, it is not above zero tile with the level of moisture absorption or special films of PVC. And last option the simplest and esthetically attractive.
The technology of facing by tile has the features. It is necessary to use special waterproof types of glue and sealing of joints. Laying of tile begins with the upper edge of walls and comes to the end on external corners of bottom.
Installation of equipment begins after completion of all construction jobs. Before operation, the serviceability of system and stability of bowl need to be checked by means of experiment. The bowl is filled with water and remains for 5 days. If the surface of bowl was not deformed, then the pool is ready for operation.
