Spathiphyllum, or as it is called still, flower of women's happiness, it is possible to rank as unpretentious plants. But also at it from some conditions of accommodation problems with health can begin.

1. The very first reason for the beginning dryness of leaves which can be assumed is dryness of air. The humidity is nearly the main problem for all flower growers, and especially sharply it is felt during the heating, winter period. For many hygrophilous plants including for spathiphyllum, there are not enough sprayings and bathing in soul as these measures cannot replace humid air. Tips of leaves dry during the winter period, most likely, because of it and though it is not too dangerous to plant in most cases, dry tips very much spoil exterior. It is possible to solve problem, having exposed pot with spathiphyllum on wide and small pallet, and free space to fill at first with pebble or gravel, having put from above moss. Water will evaporate from there much more slowly and the flower will better feel. But this way has also side effects: in constantly damp moss front sights or decay and mold can be got.
2. Dry tips of leaves at spathiphyllum can appear from insufficient watering as the plant it does not take out drought. But before watering it is necessary to check the earth in pot, whether not too it wet and without it. As too abundant watering is also harmful to any flower, in particular if the drainage hole is not provided in its pot and excess water stands at the bottom. From drought the roots die off, drying, and from the gulf and stagnation of water roots will decay. In either case the flower should be restored long. The overdried flower is enough to be watered, and filled in it is desirable to take out from pot, to examine roots and to remove all rotten then to replace in soil with normal humidity.
3. Hits of direct sunshine look forward rare plants, especially in the middle of hot summer. The spathiphyllum as shade-loving and hygrophilous flower, reacts to the direct hot sun very badly. The turned yellow tips of leaves quite can be reaction to influence of sunshine. In this case it is necessary to remove plant in shadow as soon as possible, and 2-3 days to watch its state. If very large number of leaves has not dried and the flower has recovered, it is possible to spray it for the purpose of prevention epiny. Once most often is not enough, it will be required to carry out not less than 5-6 procedures, alternating them every other day. After such leaving the plant has to restore growth and health.
4. Approximately from October to February the plant is at rest, slowing down growth and all other exchange processes. If to begin to fertilize spathiphyllum during this period or to replace it as a result it can begin to dry leaves as active actions with it are contraindicated at this time. It is not necessary to fertilize flower at this time too as the procedure will do more harm, than advantage.
