That homogenized means

That homogenized means

Homogenization is a mixing of products under pressure or a mechanical way to completely uniform structure. This process with success is used in the food industry, cosmetology, pharmaceutics and other areas today. It allows not only to improve structure of a product, but also to keep its properties on longer period.

As there is a homogenization process

To receive the homogenized product in house conditions, it is enough to use the mixer or the blender. However its quality in this case, of course, will strongly differ from that product which is exposed to homogenization by means of the special equipment.

Homogenization is reached due to impact on a product of considerable external effort: ultrasound, pressure or high-frequency electric processing. To shatter fat in a liquid dairy products, for example, the homogenized car with the valve through which cracks milk fat is dispersed is used, that is decreases in sizes and is evenly distributed in milk. Thanks to it the viscosity increases, the taste of a ready-made product improves and the term of its storage lasts.

In this way process of homogenization happens also in other areas, for example, in paint and varnish or pharmaceutical industry. However in each of them the types of homogenizers are used.

Process of homogenization includes a number of operations in the industries. For preparation of puree or nectars, for example, products at first are carefully cleaned, washed out and wiped. Then add a sugar syrup and other necessary elements to them. After that products crush in the homogenizer excluding contact of air and juice. Further in the same device raw materials mix up to completely uniform structure under high pressure. And at the end it is packed up in a container hot.

Homogenization application

This process found broad application in various areas. For a long time without homogenizers it is impossible to imagine production of food. By means of such installations create various dairy products of a long period of storage, various sauces and mayonnaise, juice, pastes and, of course, baby food.

At the same time homogenization positively influences quality of a ready-made product, improving it due to fuller mixing of substances.

By means of homogenization also produce various cosmetic creams and suspensions, soap, spirits, decorative cosmetics, toothpaste and detergents. Such technology also allows to create various industrial lubricants, liposomny suspensions, vodoimulsionny and oil paints, shoe creams, ink, latex and even water coal fuel.
