It is considered that the poetic work gives to the author more opportunities for expression of feelings, than prose. The poetic text broken into lines bears in itself a rhythm and a unique melody that allows to strengthen impact on the reader. Poets use various receptions for creation of poetic forms. And most often the contents of the work are born in unity with its form.

1. The inspiration is considered the most important condition for creation of the poem. It is possible, of course, by strong-willed effort to force itself to sit down at a desk and to try to write several quatrains. But most often poetic images come to mind of the poet not under the influence of purposeful effort or strong-willed installation, and at the rare moments of elation. Not everyone manages to write verses according to the plan.
2. From what sources do authors derive inspiration? For some it can be communication with the nature or listening of favourite pieces of music. Someone needs sharp change of a situation or the rough romantic relations. Unusual impressions, meetings with new people often also become internal material for creative work. It is necessary only to catch special mood, to be at the correct loss for words and to connect them in rhymed lines.
3. However the rhyme is not obligatory attribute of the poetic work at all. For creation of rhythm the poets quite often use the special meters differing in alternation of shock and unaccented syllables. As a rule, it is easy to distinguish the taken place author on the developed style of supply of material which always is individual. The characteristic example – Vladimir Mayakovsky's creativity, whose verses can be recognized by a special system and a rhythm.
4. The unique rhythmic drawing of the poem appears not on wave of a magic wand. That even the shortest work blossomed and played paints, authors long perfect each phrase, rearrange words and lines in quatrains, trying to obtain ideal sounding and musicality. Quite often on bringing the poem to a final look days, and even months are required. Happens that after such processing the work completely loses initial shape.
5. In search of the unique word the poets can spend the whole hours. Very often happens that the hint comes minutes of rest when the person switches to another matters or sinks into a sleep. It is noticed that the brightest images at poets arise the first minutes after awakening. At this moment it is important to manage to grasp the new idea or a rhyme and to fix it on paper. A small notebook for notes – indispensable attribute of the author which is always useful for having near at hand.
6. It is possible, of course, and other style of work when the poem in the finished form is born in only a few minutes and does not change after that any more. But only really talented poets can write verses on one breath. Even Pushkin often postponed the new poem in a desk and waited when perception becomes fresh. He could return to work on the work only in several days then governed and finished separate lines, bringing them to perfection.
7. The final stage of work on the poem – its grinding. It is very important to estimate comprehensively result of creativity, to listen to its sounding. Many famous poets read the new verses to close people to learn their opinion. The look from outside helps to see flaws and to smooth roughnesses. When the first comments are received, it is possible to claim about confidence that the poem worked well or, on the contrary, needs full alteration.
