1. To find the shooter who is carrying out the mission it is necessary to take, first of all, a safe position from which it is possible to conduct the covert surveillance. For example, at playing airsoft as such shelter the natural ravine with the bushes which sprouted on its edges can serve.
2. Having taken a safe position, it is necessary to define the direction of firing aurally. It will help not only to assume, the shooter hid where exactly, but also to fully estimate safety of the chosen shelter in case the shooter will change the location.
3. Analyze the shot sound heard by you – it will help you to define type of weapon which is possessed by the shooter. Further tactics depends on knowledge of type of weapon of the shooter, for example, to take strengthenings of the enemy fast storm during a recharge of its weapon or to destroy the enemy one accurate shot.
4. Knowledge of weapon of the enemy can also open an exact location of the opponent. For example, if weapon is not equipped with the flame arrester, it is possible to provoke the shooter to a shot. For this purpose the doll from improvised materials – a helmet on a stick is usually used, for example. The shot unmasks, because you should not open fire and most.
5. Existence of optics can also give the shooter. You watch closely flickering patches of light in that place where there can be a shooter. Consider that the experienced shooter can leave even the best shelter for the sake of more advantageous position.
6. Pay attention to unnaturally located natural objects: the branch does not wave on wind, leaves on a certain knot are located in other party, too green hummock under a bush. Perhaps, even one accidental shot on such object will help to gain a victory over the hidden shooter.
